How Alien AI Copilots Helped Build Diceon
When I started building Diceon, I wanted more than just another dice game. It had to be verifiably fair, fully on-chain, transparent, and fun. What I didn't expect was how much of the heavy lifting would come from working with AI copilots - it felt like leading an alien dev crew rather than coding solo πΈ.
πΈ The AI Crew
- GPT-5 β My main co-pilot. Wrote ~700 lines of Solana program logic in one go, wired Phantom wallets, live chat, player DB, leaderboards, and debugged at warp speed.
- DeepSeek β The advisor. Always there with detailed answers and explanations when I needed to βseekβ clarity.
- Gemini β The cookbook & artist. Handy for recipe-style snippets, UI polish, and even artwork styles by Nano Banana.π
π² The Build
Together, we shipped:
- On-chain bets via Solana program (commit-reveal, vault safety, RNG).
- Phantom wallet integration with demo/real toggle.
- Live chat with wallet-locked usernames.
- Player DB tracking bets, wagers, profits.
- Leaderboards with stats and filters.
- Polish: Game UI / UX, mascot.
π Reflections
Building Diceon with AI copilots didn't feel like coding alone. It felt like working with a team that never sleeps, never complains, and ships at hyperspeed. Each AI had its strengths, and together they made the project possible in a way that would have taken much longer otherwise. This is what coding in 2025 feels like.
π Shoutouts
To AI copilots - GPT-5, DeepSeek, Gemini.
To the Solana community.
From concept to a fully on-chain casino, powered by alien-level AI copilots πΈπ².
